Christine Heppermann has been publishing reviews and articles since receiving her masters in children’s literature from Simmons College in 1992.
Her book reviews have appeared in newspapers including The San Antonio Express-News, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, The New York Times, and The Chicago Tribune.
Christine contributed to several important Twin Cities literary publications, writing reviews for The Hungry Mind Review and serving on the editorial board of The Five Owls and The Riverbank Review of Books for Young Readers, where she published many articles.
Christine was a columnist and reviewer for The Horn Book Magazine from 1996 until 2013. She contributed chapters to Childrens Books and Their Creators (1995) and A Family of Readers: The Book Lover’s Guide to Children’s and Young Adult Literature (2011).
